Nudge Education is a national intervention service for children that are chronically disengaged from education.
We are seeing in the region of 937,000 children across the UK missing education regularly, a number which is sadly expected to rise when the next set of data is published. We are hopeful that the tailored and bespoke interventions that we design and deliver will help to re-engage thousands of children across the country in the coming years. To do this we need a flexible, motivated and dynamic network of practitioners carefully matched with students they are best suited to help.
We are looking for someone who can join this team to help us ensure that new case referrals are managed efficiently.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Qualification in Education and/or Teaching (ideally Level 3 or above)
- Experience working in Education, LAC/Child Protection, SEND support, Mental Health
- Understanding of EHCPs, complex needs including neurodivergence and mental health in young people
The key tasks within this role:-
- To deal with referral enquiries via phone, email or other means;
- To manage the process of and handle incoming referrals for the allocated region;
- To identify and prioritise the alignment of Education Experts to student interventions working to team targets and deadlines;
- General Data Administratration involving company Case Management Systems and Google Documents;
- Setting-up student files using our Google Drive system;
- Ensuring intervention-related paperwork is compliant and completed in timely manner to be handed over to the Service Delivery Team;
- Maintaining and updating staff, associate and commissioner details using our Google Drive system;
- Written and Verbal Communication with Local Authorities, schools, parents and Nudge staff;
- Diary management where needed;
- Working as part of a driven and motivated team;
- To work in accordance with team and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives, Key Results (OKRs);
- To always act in the best interests of Nudge Education;
- Undertaking relevant training and continuous professional development;
- Promoting and supporting the ethos of Nudge Education to ensure our students and commissioners receive the highest levels of service.
Details of the role:
- Salary: £22,308-£24,500
- Location: Head office (Newcastle upon Tyne)
- Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week based around core office hours (8.30-4.30pm)
- Contract type: Permanent subject to 6 months probation period
- Reports to: Referrals Team Lead
